Going a little outside the box, I wonder if the source of her problem may not be respiratory, but if there may be some reflux occurring, and if this might be worth discussing with the vet. It is certainly a shot in the dark rather than a tight fit, but I wonder if a combination of trying an antacid and at a different time some Carafate might make a difference. Is the liquid preparation of Carafate available there?
