My vet called the lab in Idaho a couple of days ago to find out the procedure. She says that they require a capillary tube of blood (micro hematocrit) with heparin, which is then overnighted to their lab. A capillary tube, if you've never seen one, takes a VERY small sample of blood -- just a drop. The turnaround time for the test is about 1-3 days.
