Subject: [ferrethealth] Vet listings (was: 4 year+ ferret died)

Sukie's post reminded me of something else. When I
moved to northeastern Wisconsin I was told by a number
of ferret owners who are online that there was no good
ferret vet in this area. None. It turned out,
thankfully, not to be true.
I ended up talking to a woman who runs a shelter about
45 miles from my home. I now have a list of six
ferret vets within 75 miles of here! The one I am
using is 25 minutes away and is truly excellent but
she isn't on any of the lists. Sukie's post reminded
me that I need to e-mail Pam and get our vet added.
Please check the vet listings. If you have a good vet
who truly knows ferrets and who isn't listed please
contact the list maintainers and get them added. You
may be saving a ferret's life in the future.
