No. Including not classic because it was a delayed reaction.
Anaphylactic allergic reactions are the ones people really worry about, and why no one should leave a vet's office sooner than the vet okay or sooner than about 45 minutes after vaccinations. Most anaphylactic reactions happen rapidly.
Symptoms of anaphylactic reactions that are often seen (but individual presentations vary) include extreme lethargy, passing out, turning very red, turning very pale, swelling, passing an extreme amount of very liquid diarrhea (the individual will empty stem to stern in almost no time) which can happen so rapid that red blood cells are carried along with fluids across the intestinal membranes (bloody flux). Some vomit from the throat swelling, though that can have alternative causes.
The single most important med to get on board with an anaphylactic reaction is epinephren. Also important, and often downright essential for survival, is fluid support, steroids (In humans with glaucoma or ocular hypertension extra Singulair tablets are given off-label instead of steroids when possible, and I know that Singulair has been used in ferrets for other needs, but not if it would work for the lungs in this use like it can work for humans. Just have been there a few times, so I know about that in people.), and antihistamines. Some ferrets may need more, including oxygen boxes.
I personally think that it usually for me is harder to witness an anaphylactic reaction than go through one. My hubby thinks I am bonkers on that score, but epi doesn't agree with him as well as it does with me. (We both know both perspectives, and have had ferrets who reacted, two to IMRAB, a few to Galaxy, more to Fervac, and one to Amoxi.)
