With really particularly stinky and generally nasty, mucously poop,
the most common culprit I've seen has been coccidia. You'll need a
fecal test at the vet's to diagnose it, but it's not that bad to treat
(need to clean the environment really well too or else it will likely
come back). Some IBD cases also cause the really nasty, stinky poop,
as can GI lymphoma and I'm sure other things. In any case, you'll
probably want to start with a fecal test at the vet's office...
