Hi Mike, good to see you are back!
Now, my vet called revolution for the specific dosage last year.
Revolution of course doesn't sponsor use for ferrets, but THEIR
recommended dosages are much less than a whole tube for a 5 - 15 lb cat. I
used these dosages and got excellent results.
They gave two different dosages, one was for fleas only, the other was for
parasite protection. The dosages my vet used were in between the lower and
the higher.
Here they are:
Revolution dosages are 0.15ml for around 2.5 pounds.
.10ml for 1.5 to 1.75 pounds
It's a bit of a drastic difference in dose, but I know for a fact that
these work for fleas. Also, this enables you to spend less and dose more
ferrets. Use a small syringe and snip the cap of Revolution. However, if
Revolutions numbers are crap, let me know!!!
I would have to have my vet call revolution again for the exact amount of
maximum dosage per lb for parasites.
