Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] ferret ALWAYS sleeping

The first ferret that we had was like that, after we had had him for a few weeks. Same
was with us, we were both working all day. We had him checked out and he was fine,
so we were thinking he was probably lonely during the day. We got him a playmate,
and what a change in his personality! After that, he was on the go all the time and you
could really see a difference in him. One thing that my local ferret shelter does is
allow you to bring your ferret with you when adopting, so the ferrets get to pick each
other out, instead of you. Its always been a wonderful experience for both ferrets and
us humans involved! Good luck!
