I'm no Vet. but this sounds alot like how my Rusty started out along the
same diagnostic path. Poop, Thirst, lack of appetite,were his main worrys.
Our Dr. came up with his having an ulcer. So now the old guy is on Carafate
which is used to coat the stomach. He is also Insulinomic and Dr thinks this
may have brought on the ulcer. He has good days and bad as far as poops go,
but is at least able to maintain his weight and energy enough to get about
and play a little(He'll be 6 in July).He is also on Prednisone which can be
a real irritant too. Has anything changed in Mojaves life? A move? A new
human or pet? He seems young for stress. Good luck with him.
