Subject: [ferrethealth] Help...I think my Missy has ECE
I recently took in two babies from someone whose land lord wouldnt let her have them. I have been slowly introducing them to my 4 (will be five this summer) female. Yesterday she seemed lethargic, now today she is very lethargic and has green slimy poop.
I now ECE is a virus, so no antibiotic will help. I am currently going to animal hosp where i work to get supplies for sub Q fluids and a thermometer.
I just need to know what I can do for her. I dont want to lose her! I have heard this virus can be deathly in older ferrets.
Please help me....I am so scared.
