Subject: [ferrethealth] thank you
I appreciate all your responses.
Sammie does get predisone twice a day. And because i was told to give her
Melatonin 6 hours after sunrise - i give her that when I am able to. She did have a
Lupron shot about 2 years ago but hte vet said because he saw no signs of
improvement it was best to continue with the melatonin.
Also, it really wasnt a question of keeping the boyfriend or the ferret. I am NOT
going to kill Sammie. I just wanted to make sure that I really wasnt making the
wrong decision by keeping her alive. I hear several times a week about how bad she
looks and how shes probably in so much pain -(that coming from someone who had
a ferret years ago that he gave away) - but hearing that so often made me feel
maybe I was wrong and being selfish keeping her alive.
Thanks again for your responses and suggestions. AND i have passed this info
along to the boyfriend. :)
I am going to look into the implant. Does that require surgery though?
[Moderator's reply to help reduce traffic today which Smartgroups needs right now:
The implant is by needle. Read
