Subject: [ferrethealth] Glucose levels
I was reading on the internet today that a glucose level lower than 90
in a ferret is indicative of insulinoma. However, I was reading
somewhere else that the normal glucose levels are in the 65-164 range.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Also, this may sound like a really stupid question but how does a fast
compare to a non-fast for the glucose levels? I mean does a fast raise
or lower the glucose levels?
Thank you,
Sheryl
