Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: hind leg weakness HELP!!
Years ago I took a ferret to the vet with hind leg weakness and she was found to have a
nasty tooth infection which caused her lymph nodes to swell. After a course of
antibiotics and dental work, her lymph nodes returned to normal size but it was about
a year before she could walk properly. It appears that the swollen lymph nodes had
pressed on a nerve, causing long term lameness.
Perhaps this little ferret has something like that.
