Prednisolone comes in different concentrations so giving just the ml amount doesn't say how much is actually given. What matters is the mg amount. Could you look on your bottle and see what the concentration is? It will read mg/ml

The usual dose range for ferrets is
0.10-2.5 mg/kg q 12 -24 hours
(_Essentials of Ferrets, a guide for practitioners_)

BUT

when between a rock and a hard place many of us treat Prednisolone as a "what the individual will tolerate" med

There are also ferrets who have done well having the meds given every 8 hours instead of every 12.

Meanwhile, also remember that Diazoxide can be added
5-30 mg/kg q 12 hours
(same text)

When such approaches become maxed out then some are helped by the addition of dietary sugar always available, but that should not be started prematurely. Even though you won't have sugars always available, though, do be sure to always have food available.
