I would get him into the vet's as soon as possible. If there is an enlargement of the
prostate, then your ferret could have trouble both urinating and defecating. It is not
something you should wait on, just to be on the safe side. It would seem rather
unusual for a 9 month old to have this problem, but it happens. I am saying this
because I lost a very good male fuzzy to this exact problem.
