Subject: [ferrethealth] thickening of intestines and a pepto suspension?

Hello:
I have a 5 year old mf f who has had two vets tell me
she has an unusual thickening in her intestines but
all xrays taken have shown nothing. Is this common?
she's had a case of chronic diarhea for 4 weeks that
seemed triggered by melatonin chipping, yet she'd been
chipped 8 months ago with no adverse affects. she is
.55kg. She's on flagyl and just got switched to
baytril.
second, this second dr said she used to use pepto for
ferrets in these cases but she can't any longer
because the producer changed the formula and now there
is aspirin in it. Does anyone know of a place that
will do a suspension of old style pepto?
