Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: Seizures - Urgent
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

Another question has come to mind from my reading....could it be due to the medications he's on? Animerge thought it might be the metronidazole. From some posts on the FHL I'm now worried about the pepto but I'm sure my very ferret knowledgeable vet would not have prescribed it if it was a problem. Could TJ have an aspirin allergy like people can? If so, would that cause a seizure? I remember from one of your posts you had a seizure due to an allergic reaction. I'm just wondering, if he'd been very overweight & fairly quickly lost quite a bit of weight is it possible that he wasn't metabolizing the pepto fast enough?
