Update from Animerge:
bloodwork showed elevated liver enzymes (but not extremely elevated - I did ask that). I specifically remember his mentioning bilirubin being elevated. He also said that electrolytes & potassium were low. On retesting his blood glucose it was over 200 (I think he said 230). Isn't that high? The Animerge vet felt it was fine. The grand mal seizures have subsided but he is now doing what the vet said he would call petit mal seizures - twitching of his head. They were about to give him another dose of valium.
In my anxiety I neglected to ask alot of the very good questions you proposed. I will have to call back and ask them.
