Thank you so much Sukie, and Roary too, for your quick responses. His
poops are starting to look closer to normal.....about 85% there. I'd
given him the laxatone twice a day and just let him go where ever he
wanted to because I did not want to disturb him. This afternoon is when
it finally started to look closer to normal in amount and the way it
looked....and there was also more urine than before. I was never so
happy to see him poop on the rug! Tonight he used the litter box in his
cage and it did not appear he was straining as he had before. He has been
eating, drinking and playing like normal this whole time. I also pinched
the skin on the back of his neck to check for dehydration but it appeared
normal too. I'm still going to keep a very close eye on him, though.
You can't be too careful. Thank you again very, very much for your help
and I hope you have a great weekend.
Deb;o)
