Hi, xxxxxxx,

Are you trained and equipped to handle a severe
reaction? If not I would *NEVER*, as in not in a
million years, vaccinate ferrets outside a vet's
office. I've had two ferrets (Podo and Nyssa) have
immediate anaphylactic reactions. Without immediate
vet care (additional injections, oxygen tent, fluids)
they would have died. Even the vet involved wasn't
sure they'd make it at first with all that
intervention.

Please, unless you have the necessary veterinary
training, equipment, and medication DON'T EVEN THINK
ABOUT IT!

FWIW, Nyssa was two when that happened. She'll be
eight in five weeks.

All the best,
Caity and the fabulous four
(Nyssa, Ella, Zephyr, and Chin Soon)
