My medical term for the day. Thanks. B-)

Would an x-ray detect a soft-tissue problem, such as a mass of some kind blocking the nasal airway, or perhaps even a soft foreign object that somehow got up there? (Haven't you ever known a young child who liked to stuff things up their nose? In my little sister's case it was fuzz pulled from a security blanket, and she eventually stuffed so much up her nose that her sinuses became blocked. She had to go to the hospital so they could pull out all the accumulated gunk.)
Hmmm. Has Gus ever been around clumping cat litter? I seem to recall hearing of a ferret that inhaled a bunch of dust from this that clumped inside its nose. Perhaps it's something like that.
I will be very interested in hearing the result, whatever it is, and am hoping that Gus will soon be able to sleep again without propping his mouth open on the cage.
