I don't know if this will help, but I've had two ferrets with weird
bleeding problems.
First, about six years ago, our six year old ferret Sunny nearly bled
to death during and after a routine insulinoma surgery. I do not know
if your case is similar, but Sunny's case is in the FML (not FHL -
think it predated the FHL) archives:

It really seemed like a clotting disorder. She was bleeding really
badly, and they had to go back in after her first surgery and pack her
abdomen with sterile gauze to apply pressure from the inside. It was
removed a couple of days later, in a third surgery. She didn't really
turn around until she had a transfusion from a healthy ferret. Seems
like those platelets let her clot again. She also had vitamin b and k
shots, but the transfusion is what seemed to turn her around.
The second case was with Nana, who went Addisonian after a seemingly
routine left adrenal surgery. She was shocky and probably went into
DIC, with diffuse bleeding under the skin and at all of her needle/iv
sites; her incision opened up too. It was horrible. She eventually
recovered with supportive care, large amounts of steroids, and
mannitol (the mannitol was probably related to trying to jump-start
urine production, which had stopped, rather than directly to the DIC).
I don't know if any of this will help, but know you're in our
thoughts, and keep the list posted.
