hi Lesley,
If any of the chipped teeth begin to discolor, I'd get them removed
as this usually means they have begun to die.
My regular vet once told me not to worry unless the tooth has gone
completely black, however my vet dentist confirmed that any
discoloring means the tooth should be removed. I guess teeth are a
specialist field, so "regular" vets can't be expected to know
everything about them.
