Hi Dadams,
If the glucose is an acurrate reading at 34, then the
ferret has severe hypoglycemia mostly likely from
insulinoma. The hair loss with a swollen vulva also
indicates adrenal gland disease, most likely with
an elevated estrogen level. Adrenal gland disease
with an elevated estrogen can cause anemia and
thrombocytopenia. Thus the bleeding from needle pricks.
Adrenal gland disease can also cause excessive
bruising too.
Was a CBC and platelet count done?
