Subject: [ferrethealth] Bump on snout

My ferret has a growth on his snout, between his right eye and nose. It has been coming and going for the last couple of years. However, it is now the largest I have ever seen it. The growth is not hard, it is like touching the tip of your finger. Last time I brought him the vet (year ago), the vet had no idea what it was. the growth subsided on its own, but has since come back.
Any ideas what it could be?
