Subject: [ferrethealth] IBD, pred and weightloss

My ferret Milo has IBD he is on pred. We are noticing he is loosing
weight...he still has loose stools. The vet instructed me to try and wean him down
to 0.2 ml every other day.
Right now he is on 0.3ml twice a day. Any suggestions? I am going to get
him in to see the ferret specialist this week. This is soo frustrating. He
is a big eater. His poops go from normal to soft like peanut butter and at
times soft unformed and seedy!
