A negative fecal float doesn't rule out the presence of parasites. It
just means no eggs are being produced and shed in the feces at
that time.
Some tiny coccidia can be difficult to diagnose too because they are
so tiny.
But there are many possible causes of intermittent diarrhea,
including a partial, shifting obstruction in the GI tract...
