Is food intolerance no longer considered a contributing factor to
the disease? I had a ferret with EGE (dx by biopsy) do extremely
well for several years after an initial course of pred, by managing
his diet alone.

Has anyone used azathioprine short-term for control of the
symptoms and then 'hypo-allergenic' diet for the long term? The
vets at the hospital where I've taken Shelly don't seem to utilize
this.
