Subject: [ferrethealth] pancreas issues that are not insulinoma?
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

I've been searching the archives and I can't find much
on pancreas issues that are not insulinoma. I posted
a while ago about my 5 year old MF female having
chronic diarhea for 5 weeks. she's been on baytril,
flagyl, metrondiazole, pedipred, amoxi and carafate,
none of which seemed to help. she had exploratory
surgery today (I can post the lab results when I get
them) but the dr said her pancreas was the angriest,
ugliest he'd ever seen but she's not showing any of
the classic insulinoma symptoms. the dr also biopsied
her stomach, intestines and liver and took out her
left adrenal since it was enlarged.

Without having lab results yet, what could make a
pancreas angry without being insulinoma and how can I
help her?

thanks in advance

becki kain
