Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: Please help me with diarrhea

Yakuka has been off the meds since Monday and nothing really changed except he
tried to eat by himself. My vet called me this morning and suggested to bring Yakuka
in the hospital to be on IV fluid and also on liquid form of antibiotic. She thinks it is
better to do this first to try to help with his inflamed intestines and diarrhea than trying
to give Lupron right away for his adrenal. Her concern is that he is not hydrated
enough and she needs to be aggressive with handling his problem. She wants to see
how Yakuka will respond for IV and liquid antibiotic. I think I have been just extremelly
drained and was not able to give him good energy. I will check on him throughout the
day ( I was not able to go to work today) and keep you posted.
