Nyssa gets Prednisolone (oral) and Depo Medrol (injected), both cortisols
(steroids) and Torbugesic (pain killer, opiate) when she needs it. So,
yes, it is possible to give both under some circumstances. Again, I am not
a vet and I don't really know what is worng with your ferret.

One point: paralysis is not usually associated with pain. Getting back
partial use of one rear leg did happen for Avon after starting on
Prednisolone. It lasted maybe two days.
