Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: ferret with dark urine...PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

Thinking back - when I got my little Rosie she had a bladder infection and I think I
remember her urine being a little like that. My vet did a fecal float and turned out to
be a bladder or urinary tract infection - they gave her amoxicillan drops (50 mg/ml).
That's what it says on her record.

Rosie was young and she was the same way - everything was fine but her urine.

Hope this helps. Also, I was just on vacation in Ohio and my vet here told me to call
vets and ask if they deal with ferrets - if not - she said if you can find a good cat
doctor. I'm just relaying info.

Karen
