Subject: [ferrethealth] scratching & itching unctrolled-PLEASE HELP!

I have 2 ferrtes. 1 male, 1 female. They are the same age, I bought them together 1 1/2 years ago. The male scracthes non stop. He makes himself get scabs from scratching so hard. I've been to the vet. He doesn't have ear mites and they gave me cat "revolution" to kill any sarcoptic mange if he had it. He is still itching all the time. He is the bigger of the 2 ferrets. His cage mate doesn't have any signs of anything being wrong. I've changed the bedding etc..... His food has never changed. He doesn't snack on anything either. He is very picky. Does anyone have any insight or advice? He's not losing his hair, he just scrathes all over and now his feet are starting to itch but again, it doesn't look or sound like sarcoptic mange. PLease help!
