Probably a good protein source.

Since they are cooked the nutritional cautions for the whites do not exist, and nor do the general infection cautions for raw eggs.

Before it was found that controlling salt content does not seem to matter for ferrets with cardiomyopathy we had two veterinary nutritionists (one a pet food company and one from a pet supplement company) help us design a diet for one here that we could make at home and one thing advised by both was having cooked egg, esp. extra yolk. That did make the feces more yellow and more stinky, but it sure agreed with her, health-wise.

I have not personally tried Carnivore Care but have heard from multiple experienced shelter people and ferret vets that they are happy with the product. The praise has been high enough that I am very intrigued to try it when the need arises in the future, but perhaps not if it is one of our ones who get cystine stones because I suspect it might be higher in protein than those 2 should have.
