Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: ferret with dark urine...PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

hello... my ferret only had the dark urine twice (on sunday) and never again. The vet analized a urine sample with a stick (like a pregnancy test) he put some drops there and some colours appeared (he did not take the sample to a lab or anything). He said that there is no infection or nothing wrong. Is this test enough? He told me that it could be something temporary like a little kidney stone passing through the bladder. Is this possible? Should I still be worried? Except from that urine with blood, my ferret is ok, hydrated, eats and drinks ok, active.... Any sugestions?
