In case there was a stone have the vet look at the urine pH. If the pH is too alkaline there could be too much vegetable matter in the diet. If it is too acidic then the ferret may have trouble processing either cystine or the COLA group of amino acids in which case the diet needs to be lower in protein.
It also would make sense to do a CBC with Chemistry Panel (a blood test combination) to look at the kidneys and liver. For info on such tests and interpreting them in ferrets:

Hopefully, it was just a bout of dehydration or a passing problem that will not happen again.
