I totally agree! Back when my ferret(Dinky) had her adrenal surgery, I asked
the Vet who would be there during the night to watch over her and he said no
one, that the techs come in early around 6am. Mind you now the Vet is over 4
hour drive from my house! I told him that I did not like that one bit and he
finally agreed to take her to his home to watch her overnight, which he did,
plus I called him that night to check on her.

I do not understand why Vets have what is called Animal Hospitals and do not
have them running 24 hours a day. Human hospitals do!!!!

It's never a good idea to leave a ferret at the vet overnight...especially
after surgery. It would seems like they would have someone to watch them,
but they don't. They just leave them alone and no one is there to address
an emergency if one occurs.
