ferret inthe second wave of the NH study as did Dr
YYYY. Dr YYYY had to pull her kid off the
study it did not respond at all and was spiraling
down- she had surgery done and it lived about another
year and a half. My ferret the littermate stayed on
the study and did not do well he passed away during
the study with BG's that never exceeded 48.

I do recall Dr DXXXX mentoned the success cases were
those who were very early stage-- my question is that
ferrets compensate for a long time until they can no
longer-- so does the Doxirubucin actually help at all?
Do you do this with a healthy ferret for prevention?

I am sure there are ferrets out there who did well.
Our experiences with big late alter ferrets at age 4
were not favorable.
