Perhaps you could use a mix of nitrous oxide (1:1 with oxygen) and isoflurane. The blood pressure will still go down, but not as much as with iso alone. (I understand that you can't use nitrous by itself with ferrets, which is a shame, since it doesn't lower BP.)
