My vet suggested I use a particular compounding pharmacy in our area for my=
Pedia Pred because they do not mix it with sugar like other places do, and=
they have various flavors available. The cost is $39.00 for 10ml (5mg/ml) =
- which lasts about 50 days. I found out today that they do mix it with su=
gar unless you asked that it be sugar-free. =
I called another vet's office to see what kind they use and they have non-f=
lavored Pred but it was $39.00 for 60ml (3mg/ml) and has some sugar in it. =
That=92s a huge savings but I =91m worried about the sugar part. Why would =
anyone put sugar in insolinoma meds?

Does the sugar content really matter? And
What=92s a reasonable price to pay for Pred?
