PLerase check with your vet to see what the blood
normals are she / he is utilizing.
If they are using the feline normals your ferret could
be in trouble!
We experienced this just recently with several of our
shelter ferrets who died of renal failure. They
compared levels to feline and in fact they( the
ferrets) were worse than what the vet had
interpreted!
There is still great inconsistency in our experience
when it comes to reading and interpreting blood values
for ferrets.
