The one diagnosed was through biopsy of a lymph node and a liver tumor which
the vet thought was mestasized from an adrenal tumor. These were taken
during exploratory surgery in which he was unable to remove the adrenal
tumor because it was deeply involved with the vena cava and the lymph tumor
he was looking for because it was emeshed in the blood network at the bowel
mesa. Both biopsies came back lympho. The other ferret is part of the same
group of nine (all between ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years of age-I adopted the
group and don't have any more accurate age information), and actually is in
the worst physical condition, with similar symptoms of a lower adominal lump
and extensive weight loss and diarrhea which comes back when the antibiotic
is discontinued, plus fast heart rate and murmur, and fluid retenion.

Thank you for your recommendations for my research!
