Thanks for the warning about the blood values (and I'm so sorry to hear about your shelter ferrets).
Fortunately, Milo's vet is aware of the difference -- she may not be the most experienced ferret vet in the world, but I do have confidence that if she doesn't know something, she'll at least send me to someone who does. I don't know what I like more -- her knowledge or her rolodex -- but hey, whatever works.
Meanwhile, I checked on him again a little while ago. I picked him up, and I'd swear he feels just a little more... solid, I guess. He's on .15 ml of Clavamox twice a day -- I almost wonder if he's got some run-of-the-mill illness that the antibiotic is slowly knocking out of him. I've got it in my head that I should brace myself for a cancer or cardiomyopathy diagnosis; I'm afraid to even hope for something less serious.
I guess I'll know more on Monday.
