Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] RE: insulinoma seizures
I am not a vet but have experienced several seizures with my Allie boy. I
have helped administer an IV catheter. It is almost as if they are sedated, they
drool make sounds as if they are in pain, but are not aware of things. Allie
never even flinched when my vet shaved his little leg and put the catheter
in. Now once the meds started working he was alert and wanting it out. They
are so scary to deal with. I have oral dextrose and the karo on hand for
emergencies.
