Subject: [ferrethealth] Flu issues. How long is normal?

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help. My little girl Bam, who is 3 1/2 has been sick for the last week and half or so. She was at the vet the Thursday before last just for a check up and vaccination and was a bit sniffly then already. She's been really congested, coughing and sneezing and quite lethargic. She doesn't want to play when she is out of her cage, just really wants to sleep even more than normal. She is still eating and drinking fine. Just wondering how long is normal for the flu? I rang the vet who said the vaccination could exacerbate flu symptoms, has anyone else experienced this? Could it be something worse? Any ideas, even just things to ease her symptoms? I might ring the vet again tomorrow.

Natalie
