Here are some links to help. One FHL's member's ferret, RinkyDink, had to have the canine z/d rather than the usual feline version, added nutrients, and ham.

I know there will also be some IBD management info also under the ferret names Scooter and Sherman. Sherman's problem didn't really respond to special diet except at the beginning but we used it, anyway. Scooter's did. He could not tolerate any poultry except prepared as Feline z/d.
