Subject: [ferrethealth] non-chicken foods

sorry to send yet another reply on this topic but saw an older post
mentioning Pro Plan Turkey&Barley.
This food is mentioned in Susan Brown/Karen Purcell ferret book
and for years I had great luck with it. Unfortunately, it now has
chicken in it!! I found this out in a very bad way, which is why I
want to stress the importance of reading the fine print on labels.
And Anytime the kibble __looks__ different--recheck the ingredient
list. Why Purina had to go and screw with a decent product is
beyond me.....
