It should give her some comfort, and because of that many ferrets who really need it seem to enjoy having some steam time. When that stops then move her out. Usually ours get agitated when they are ready to stop.

Ah, then it is time for another vet appointment and perhaps a chest x-ray in case she has gotten a secondary infection. It can be hard in anyone (us, too) to know when more than influenza is being seen, so a ferret with the flu can need some appointments and testing, depending on what shows up, as it goes on unless the individual is clearly improving.

It is good that she is still eating. Sometimes when they are congested or when they are on meds that dry out the sinuses too much it becomes necessary to give them warmed and stinky food so that they realize that it is food and keep eating. Liver based foods are good for that.

Smart idea!
