Subject: [ferrethealth] RE: spontaneous internal bleeding? (vet visit)
To: ferrethealth@smartgroups.com

About two years ago, I had the same thing happen with on of my young girls. After
hundreds of tests {and dollors} later, it turned out that she had ingested tobacco from
a cigarette that she got a hold of. It took a few days for her body to return to normal
stools but she did and it never happened again. Maybe they got into something that
was toxic enough to cause the bleeding. Also if you are living in an older house 25yrs
or more you may have lead paint somewhere in the household and it could be flaking.
Just a thought.
