Hello Everyone
My babys name is Chinook he is 2 and is getting sicker by th=
e day. Saturday he started sleeping alot more than usual after having a fri=
end ferret spend the week. I thought maybe he was tired but by sunday I kne=
w something was seriously wrong. I took him to the vet monday morning and t=
hey say he is running a very high fever 104.5 and they gave me amoicillian =
for him. His weight is also very low he is only 1.4 pounds and is normally =
around 3 pounds. Well every day we have force fed him food and water and he=
looked better by wednesday but today he much worse. He seems to be having =
trouble breathing and wheezes now he just lays still not moving and whe n h=
e does try to walk he falls over :( Please help me help him. He is my b=
est buddy and I can't loose him. He is going back to the vet again today bu=
t I live in wyoming and although our vets are excellent at what they do, th=
ey are horse cow and dog cat vets etc. Please if anyone any ideas what migh=
t help please let me know.
