Hi,
We have used both kaopectate and diarsanyl with Nyssa (8 year old with
lymphoma in her GI tract) and both have worked somewhat. She would get
more blocked and have more pain straining with the kaopectate so we
switched to diarsanyl instead and that has worked about as well. Neither
completely stops her diarrhea but at least it's on and off now and she's
only incontinent some of the time.
We used diarsanyl with Lady Ayeka (also lymphoma in the GI tract) and it
worked well for her except for at the very end.
